Keeping Wooden Placemats Clean

Here's a great way to use the gorgeous wooden placemats without worrying about getting them dirty! Place the wooden placemat on the table as usual. Then add a fabric placemat perpendicular to the wooden placemat and drape over the edge of the table. It's like having a mini table runner for each place. You can use fabric placemats that coordinate or contrast with your dishes!
